Cynthia Campos Delgado

Founder, Financial Advisor

Cynthia brings more than 17 years of financial services experience to Campos Wealth Management, working diligently to help Texas residents plan for their financial futures. She began her financial career as an assistant, working her way up to become a licensed agent and financial advisor, servicing clients and assisting them with planning for their retirement using the strategies best suited for their situation.

After working for Gilbert Financial Services for many years, Cynthia was designated to take over the firm as their succession plan, leading her to start Campos Wealth Management. “I still work with all my clients, as well as taking on new ones. I am excited about creating my own path, stepping out and up to the next level,” she says.

Though Cynthia is ready and able to assist anyone in need of guidance with insurance, budgeting, income planning, debt planning and goal planning, she is passionate about helping teachers. “First and foremost, I’m your helper. I’m your guide,” Cynthia says. She has an advanced knowledge of the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, and she knows how to work both with it and around it. “It has problems, but those problems don’t need to stop us from using it to plan for retirement.”

Cynthia possesses an extensive knowledge of the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, but she also works with families, retirees, single parents and individuals, no matter their net worth and no matter their age. She believes it’s never too early to start planning for retirement, and retirement planning should come with a current idea for budgeting. She also believes in working closely with clients to establish goals. “Because each person’s plans and goals are different, it’s important for them to be involved so that we know how to approach their unique situation,” she explains. “Sometimes two heads are better than one. We can figure it out by working together.”

Well-versed in retirement planning, estate planning, annuities and insurance strategies, Cynthia also uses her wide-ranging experience in the financial field to implement tried and true methods of building wealth, saving and planning for retirement income. “I want to help clients follow the easiest path, and the most proven path, toward their financial success,” Cynthia says.

Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Cynthia spent five years as a property and casualty-licensed agent, helping people with home and auto insurance, and more than 10 years in property management. Her Navy upbringing took her all around the country, but she finally settled in Texas, a state she is proud to call home. She studied business administration at the University of Texas, and she now focuses all of her energy on providing care and counsel for residents of the largest state on the mainland.

Cynthia’s devotion to working with mothers comes from her own experience, as she has four sons and is close with all of them. Cynthia jokes that boys must run in her family, as she also has two grandsons, but doesn’t bother her one bit. “I love having boys and wouldn’t change a thing,” she says proudly.

When she has free time, Cynthia enjoys travelling, especially to national and state parks. She feels very connected to nature, and one of her main hobbies is bird-watching.
